Job Opportunity: Programme Manager - Temporary Position
Role: Programme Manager
Location: South-West London (hybrid)
Rate: £500 - £650 p/d - Umbrella/Inside IR35 (Depending on experience)
Duration: 6 months
We are seeking a Programme Manager for a DSEAR Compliance Project, available for a secondment of approximately 6 months.
The role is with a large infrastructure client, we can consider candidates from any built environment background or infrastructure works, providing you meet the below criteria.
The client is open to the market on rates, however the role falls within IR35/Umbrella PAYE
Project Overview: The project is transitioning to a new phase. The initial phase involved managing 25 complex high-risk sites. The upcoming phase will cover 3000 low-risk sites, presenting a new set of challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee ongoing project management, including DSEAR documentation production.
·Ensure efficient delivery of the current project phase within the established timeline.
·Manage budgetary aspects: budget reforecast, VOWD , and costing for the programme.
·Organize and allocate resources for non-technical tasks (e.g., raising orders).
·Manage engagement with external project stakeholders.
·Plan for the next phase of DSEAR documentation production.
·Develop strategies for new delivery phases and define the scope of trials.
·Set up trials in the current funding cycle and ensure high-quality outcomes to refine the delivery strategy for the next.
·Plan and deliver corrective actions, including stakeholder engagement, defining delivery routes, and workflow processes.
·Manage the delivery process.
 Qualifications:
1.Degree
2.Prince2 or MSP Practitioner certification (beneficial)
3.P3O qualification or a strong understanding of its principles
Essential Experience:
1.Experience in project management and/or business change environments.
2.Full familiarity with project management techniques and their real-world applications.
3.Proven ability to identify goals/objectives and motivate others to achieve them.
4.Experience in developing project plans, tracking progress, and managing risks and issues.
