The Role

As a Construction Support Administrator you will provide a service covering all areas of administration and support necessary for the successful operation of the project. This includes the management of all project documentation, ensuring that all key contract documentation is handled effectively and that a good level of information distribution is maintained throughout the entire project cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Requisition materials and plant using COINS with due regard for coding of materials and follow up orders until delivery, processing of GRNs in a timely manner;nPreparation of weekly plant reports and reconciliation of plant hire invoices;nProcessing of weekly payroll for all site operatives;nProduction of weekly labour resource report, including allocation and breakdown of payments and overtime payments;nCompile the Operations and Maintenance Manual for the project using the client proposed system;nRecord the monthly environmental statistics and distribute as required;nTo record the issue, status and location of all controlled documentation, including drawings;nTo facilitate set up and operation of information management systems effectively;nTo liaise with the project management team to identify priorities and appropriate treatment of information incoming and outgoing;nTo continually update and maintain accuracy of information;nTo maintain accurate records of the receipt and issue of transmittals;nTo ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements;nTo validate currency of controlled documents for the construction team;nEnsure awareness of environmental issues within the construction company environment and the Environmental Manual policy and objectives;nMaintain awareness of Occupational Health and Safety issues within the construction company environment and the Byrne Group OH&S policy statement and objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

With at least 3 years experience, the ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level;nProven experience in a similar role within the construction industry;nLogical and well organised;nNumerate, literate and accurate;nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities;nDetailed knowledge of Document Management Systems including Aconex; Microsoft Office including Excel and Word;nAbility to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively;
