Summary:nFinatal are partnered with a PE backed healthcare business, seeking a Head of Commercial Finance to play a critical role in driving the business’ growth. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all budgeting and forecasting processes, serving as a key business partner to various departments, and providing strategic oversight of commercial finance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:nLead the annual budgeting process, including the development of detailed financial plans and forecasts.nMonitor and analyse financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and trends.nPrepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and private equity stakeholders.nCollaborate with department heads and business unit leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their financial needs and objectives.nProvide financial modelling and analysis to support business initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities.nOversee the commercial finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.nEvaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.nLead initiatives to optimise revenue, manage costs, and improve profitability.nAct as a strategic advisor to the CFO and executive team, contributing to the overall financial strategy and long-term planning.nMentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications:nACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalentnMinimum of 6 years in-industry experience in Commercial Finance, with a strong background in healthcare or a related industry.nProven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business partnering.nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.nStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and stakeholders.nProficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
