Are you an Adult Registered Nurse, Registered General Nurse, or Occupational Therapist? We're looking for you to join our growing team of clinicians in Redruth to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) by conducting Disability Assessments that make a real impact on people's lives
Salary: £39,500
Location: Redruth
Working Pattern:
Hybrid Working – A balanced mix of working from our office and remotely from home.
09:00 am – 17:00 pm | 37.5 hours | Monday to Friday
Full-time
We can offer Part-Time hours after Full-Time 5-week training programme course.
(No Weekends, No Bank Holidays, No Long Shifts, and No Evening Work)

Role Overview:
As a Hybrid Functional Assessor, you will:
Conduct Assessments: Evaluate claimants’ health conditions in person and remotely.
Review Evidence: Analyze medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities.
Compile Reports: Create detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).Example Tasks:
Interview claimants to understand their health conditions and daily challenges.
Review medical records and write comprehensive reports.
Provide recommendations based on thorough assessments.
Training Program:
Successful candidates will undergo a 5-week comprehensive training program, covering:
Assessment Techniques: Best practices for accurate evaluations.
DWP Guidelines: Learn the requirements of the Department for Work and Pensions.
Report Writing: Build skills for detailed and objective reporting.
Who We Need:
We are specifically seeking:
Registered Adult Nurses (Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disability, General)
Occupational Therapists (Adult-focused)(Note: Sponsorship is not available for these roles.)
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
Registration: At least 2 years of active registration with NMC or HCPC.
Skills: Strong communication, proficient typing, and excellent IT skills are essential.
