ABC Teachers are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis conducting 1:2 support with pupils with SEND. There is more than one vacancy available, so we are looking for candidates to work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.  The school requires an experienced Teaching Assistant who works well with children with Autism and additional needs to start from September. The school is based is the Sandwell area easily accessible from both Dudley and Sandwell.
About the role:
Working on a 1:2 basis
Supporting children with a diagnosis of ASD and associated communication and behavioural needs, as well as working with pupils awaiting a diagnosis.
Use a child-centred approach to provide the best support for student’s learning and development.
This Teaching Assistant role is a full-time, long-term role.

About you:
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
