Procurement Product Owner

As Procurement Product Owner, you will leverage your technical knowledge and experience to implement support and improve the existing procurement application and aligned with specific business requirements.
You will collaborate closely with the business product owner to define product strategies aligned with stakeholders from procurement, governance, legal, and control teams.
The Procurement Product Owner with be responsible for product backlog & requirements and ensuring that new enhancements align with the necessary controls before implementation.
Responsibilities
Partner with Business Product owners to translate business objectives into clearly defined product features, tools, and user stories
Manage a team of application support specialists.
Manage the execution of procurement product features and enhancements, addressing identified business needs, as per product backlog
Working with vendors provider to enhance the product as per our requirements
Manage BAU resources to execute requirement gathering, functional design and work closely with Procurement, Governance and Legal to continuously improve the tool
Contribute to continuous improvement initiative of the product, boosting user adoption of current and future features.
Coordinate and manage the BAU support across procurement application
Manage escalation of L2/L3 service tickets and incident
Report of service performance and improvement actions.
Skills And Qualifications
Prior experience in implementing Procurement or Supply Chain applications is preferred.
Experience in at least 2 full life cycle enterprise application implementations as a functional consultant, responsible for requirements gathering, functional design and system configuration.
Exposure/awareness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) would be an added advantage.
Quick and innovative thinking with the acumen to correctly interpret trends/patterns from available data and formulate effective actions in achieving stated objectives.
Good understanding of project architecture and software development processes such as Agile and Sprint, Scrum, product backlog.
