Major Healthcare are looking to speak with GOC registered Optometrists on behalf of one of the counties fastest growing independent practices. The company are looking to employ a new Optometrist on a full or part time basis to become an invaluable member of their team based in their South Tyneside practice.

    £65,000 + professional fees & pension.
  • Efficient workflow with assistance, reducing your workload:
    Flexible30-minute testing times with pre-screening completed by optical support staff.

    Fundus DRS Camera, Easyfield Oculus Fields Machine, Combi Unit, Auto Refractor, ICare tonometer, as well as the latest diagnostic equipment and advances in contact lenses.

    Stylish, recently refurbished, independent practice, with a low staff turnover and a spacious test room.
  • Restore your work-life balance:
    Offering; alternate Saturdays, free parking, closed Sundays & Bank Holidays and requires no late nights as they close at 5:30pm.

More details and requirements:

  • Ideally part time (4 days a week) with alternate Saturdays possible.
  • Opening hours: Monday - Saturday (09:00am - 17:30pm).
  • Eligible to work in the UK and GOC registered.
