About the Position:
Are you looking for a challenging yet fulfilling role as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical) at Barchester? In this position, you will have the opportunity to travel within your region, overseeing and fostering the development of teams in various care homes to ensure the exceptional care and service that sets us apart. Collaborating closely with the General Manager or hiring manager, you will play a vital role in implementing action plans to meet the diverse needs of our residents.

Stepping into leadership responsibilities when the General Manager is absent, you will be involved in various aspects ranging from maintaining care standards to inspiring and motivating your team. What We Look for:
If you aspire to join us in the role of Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you must hold a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) designation with current NMC registration, along with qualifications in teaching, mentoring, or supervision. Prior experience in a nursing home environment is indispensable, as is a demonstrable commitment to continuous professional advancement. Proficiency in assisting residents with diverse healthcare requirements is essential, as is a proven track record in managing safeguarding inquiries and clinical risk evaluations. Additionally, we seek candidates with HR expertise, a sound understanding of sales and marketing, proficiency in budget management, and a history of guiding newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. The ideal candidate is empathetic, resilient, and dedicated to providing top-notch care within our dynamic and vibrant setting. Due to the role's nature, flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential traits.

Benefits Package:
In addition to a competitive salary, Barchester boasts a comprehensive benefits package that stands out in the care sector. Your perks will include:

  • Free learning and development opportunities
  • Automatic enrollment in our profit-sharing scheme
  • Various holiday, retail, and leisure discounts
  • Nurse Mentor and Refer a Friend incentive programs
  • Option to cover the Tier 2 visa application fee for eligible nurses

If you are eager to utilize your clinical expertise and interpersonal skills in an environment that upholds the quality care standards you would desire for your loved ones, this role offers a gratifying and empowering experience.
