**Responsibilities:**

  • Manage a team of four locality AMHP Team Managers and a business support officer
  • Provide professional supervision and support to Out of Hours AMHP Team Manager colleagues
  • Ensure adequate rota cover and contribute as an AMHP during high demand
  • Supervise conditionally discharged individuals and allocate social supervisors
  • Lead recruitment, appointment, and development of AMHPs and Trainee AMHPs
  • Promote adherence to National AMHP Service Standards
  • Explore co-production opportunities for individuals in contact with AMHP Services
  • Support operational and strategic aims of the local authority and the Trust
  • Promote the AMHP role within the wider system and provide strategic insight into areas such as Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space

**Qualifications and Experience:**

  • Registered social worker, occupational therapist, or mental health nurse
  • Proven commitment to professional development
  • Experience in working with individuals in mental health crises
  • Current or eligible for AMHP approval
  • Strong understanding of mental health legislation and recovery principles
  • Experience in statutory mental health services and multi-agency working
  • Team player with a focus on high standards and peer support
