Overview:

SALONI is an independent contemporary woman's fashion brand launched in 2010 which is headquartered in London with an office in Hong Kong. The company has built a strong international wholesale business (particularly in the USA) and has a successful and growing Direct to Consumer business through its own website.

The Position:

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our dynamic team in supporting wholesale operations and sample management. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment, collaborating closely with our Wholesale, E-commerce and Design teams. You will help manage our showroom, samples, and styling items, ensuring everything aligns seamlessly with our brand's standards. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the efficiency and success of our operations.

This is an office based role at our Head Office in Clerkenwell, London

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up the showroom space to ensure it is visually appealing and ready for buyer meetings.
  • Support the team during sales appointments by meeting and greeting buyers, preparing samples, and providing information about the collections.
  • Help maintain an organised archive of seasonal collections and cross-check against linesheets to ensure every sample is accounted for at the end of each season, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage, Track and document the movement and location of samples across various channels, including agents, distributors, production, and PR/dressing.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of e-commerce photoshoots.
  • Oversee the organisation and management of styling items in our London office: Ensure all styling items are organised and ready for use, and help manage the styling item inventory during and after the shoot.
  • Act as a second pair of eyes for the wholesale team, meticulously cross-checking data for accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in various administrative tasks to support the wholesale operations.
  • Support the Wholesale Team with Saloni Distributor and Agents requests.
  • Support with the preparation of presentations and decks related to sales.
  • Manage any press shoot requests required by the business.
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks or projects related to International Sales and samples.
  • Support with e-commerce photoshoots, merchandising decks, and any other ad hoc requests.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion, Business, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Adobe software a plus.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload efficiently to meet business objectives and prioritise tasks effectively and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, open, can-do attitude; curious, passionate, and driven.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strives to ensure high standards and meets deadlines.
