About this role:
You are a key person in the day to day running of the HR Team.

The role is responsible for supporting the Senior HR Leadership Team, specifically the (BP) Group Director of HR and execution of Group wide projects.

You will also have the opportunity to manage information flow across the team, as well as managing calendars and setting up meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Group Director of HR to support all aspects of their daily work routine.
  • Maintain the Group Director of HR's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments and travel (may include domestic and international).
  • Keep the Group Director of HR advised of timesensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate followup.
  • Provide coordination, monitoring and communication of projects and programs managed by the Group HR team.
  • Manage UK and International travel requirements for Senior HR Leadership, making travel bookings and supplying relevant travel documentation.
  • Plan any team movements, organise and arrange meetings and hospitality by booking relevant spaces and catering.
  • Schedule departmental meetings; assisting in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and materials.
  • Be involved in welcoming new starters to the HR team, including arrangement of packs, intro calls, team updates and inductions.
  • Coordinate the HR B-Heard Survey results report and support engagement for HR teams by planning internal events, rewards and milestones.
  • Coordinate and produce the monthly board pack as well as contributing to management information / reports on a routine basis.

Key Experience

  • Passion for delivering a worldclass customer experience.
  • Able to convey information using strong communications skils, appropriate for the target audience.
  • Previous experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Detailorientated and a selfstarter with prior experience as an executive assistant or similar role.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Ability to make decisions impacted by timely deadlines.
  • Welldeveloped IT skills particularly with Word/Excel/Outlook and Teams
  • Database systems experience is desirable
