We are recruiting a Shift Leader within the Despatch Department at Muller Manchester to enable the team to deliver targets and continuously improve performance by coaching and developing our people.


Contract:
Full Time / Perm

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off Days and Nights (7am 7pm / 7pm 7am)
Location:
Manchester

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Creating and delivering development plans.
  • Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
  • Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives.
  • People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues.
  • Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business.
  • Deep knowledge of Operational Excellence, coaching team on use of the principles and tools.

Muller Responsibilities:

  • Creating and delivering development plans.
  • Creating succession pathways both up through and across organisation.
  • High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills.
- "go, look, see" issues by visiting the workstation when called upon.

  • Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
  • Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to "100 year fix" in real time.
  • Encourages others to seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operational excellence projects.
  • Owns and delivers operational excellence initiatives and is recognised for these.
  • Looks and encourages others to find "waste" opportunities in everything that we do.
