An exciting role has arisen for a Fragility Fracture administrator to work within the Trauma and Orthopaedics Service on a 3 year fixed term basis.
The Fracture Prevention administrator will work within a team who have primary responsibility for the provision of specialist care for a defined patient group to deliver a fracture liaison service to facilitate secondary fracture prevention for patients over the age of 50 who are registered with a Southampton GP.

Your Responsibilities
What you'll do
The post holder will support the fragility team providing efficient and effective administration and secretarial support for the clinical service
You will maintain a close working relationship with the practitioners and Consultants as well as other medical, admin and AHP staff within the service.
You will be expected to routinely monitor and validate the DXA booking and waiting times, escalating issues and concerns as necessary.
General administration duties such as dealing with patient/colleague queries, outpatient booking, typing of outpatient/ follow up clinic letters and planning and data collection will be part of this role.
