We are currently looking for an HR Advisor to join a well-established Aerospace company in Filton. After receiving training, this position will offer a mix of working on-site for 3 days and working from home for 2 days weekly.


The chosen HR advisor will report to the HR Business Leader for the Filton Site and will act as a key point of contact for both employees and line managers within the organization. It will be your responsibility to ensure consistent application of HR policies and handle HR queries efficiently and dependably.

As the HR Advisor, your role will involve:

  • Being a primary contact person for employees and line managers.
  • Providing guidance to managers on recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Building expertise in key HR processes and tools, such as Workday.
  • Offering advice and participating in work reviews and change processes.
  • Utilizing HR information systems for data access, input, and compilation.
  • Managing employee relationships, addressing queries and issues, and setting expectations.
  • Assisting the HR business leader and partners with employee relations matters like capability investigations and grievance procedures.
  • Serving as the main contact for hiring managers, employees, and other HR team members.
  • Supporting managers and employees throughout the yearly HR calendar.

  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Workday is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, teamwork, and networking skills.
  • Convincing, negotiating, and initiative-taking capabilities.
  • Customer-oriented, responsive, and solution-driven mindset.
  • Effective in building and managing relationships.

This position falls under an umbrella contract, operating as an Inside IR35 role.
