We have an exciting opportunity in our Commercial Finance Team to support the team with providing data and insights to senior stakeholders in Mountain Warehouse.
This role will support business performance management by collating data and reports that drive financial reporting, analysis and planning.
You will be responsible for producing a range of reports and data sets that will be used by the Board, Retail Area Managers and other finance team members to make business decisions.
You will work closely with your team to ensure that financial reports are produced accurately and on time.What you'll be doing
Assist in the preparation of weekly trading information that is distributed to the management Board, Retail Area Managers and Investors.
Assist in monthly preparation of trading data for Management Accounts and Bank Reporting.Assist in monthly maintenance of ledger driven Retail reports (for example, relocations, conversions, loss makers).
Assist in the creation of Area Manager review packs which operates on a continuous cycle.
Maintain the store appraisal data sets.
Assist in budget and forecasting cycle and loading budgets in the ledger system.
Provide and review data to enable assessment and reward of ongoing incentive programmes and target setting.
Produce data sets for use in business budgets and forecasts.
Produce ad hoc data to support various business requests as needed .
We'd love to meet someone with
You will be confident in using excel, and able to manipulate and query mass data sets (sumifs, pivots, lookups, etc).
You will be methodical and have an eye for detail, and able to spot data errors or inconsistent or unexpected results.
You will be able to demonstrate that you can work to deadlines.You will have an aptitude for working with financial data and numbers.
You will enjoy working as a part of a team to deliver a great service to internal customers.
Dedicated and detail-oriented.
Part qualified or a strong desire to study.
Hybrid working model, currently 1 day in the office and 4 at home but this will progress to 3 days in office and 2 at home.
