About the role:

We are seeking a Business Development and Marketing Manager to take the helm of our London Energy & Infrastructure practice's business development and marketing efforts. You will manage a dynamic team, including daily line management of two advisors, and work closely with global colleagues to drive business growth and maintain our market-leading position.

We are regularly ranked as the No1 firm for renewables work and advise on some of the biggest and most strategic mandates in the energy and infrastructure sectors globally.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and innovate in promoting the firm's expertise, creating marketing collateral such as credentials documents, pitches, and thought leadership pieces to cross sell our expertise to partners internally and to clients externally.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and facilitate tools for lawyers to pursue leads and share market developments with clients.
  • Manage social media channels and liaise with the PR team to enhance Linklaters' visibility and engagement with the media.
  • Direct the Marketing Committee, and lead business development initiatives and client targeting efforts.
  • Forge and maintain strategic relationships, particularly with UK Government clients, supporting all aspects of account management.
  • Spearhead the global Chemicals sector's business development and marketing strategies in conjunction with sector partner leads.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Previous BD & marketing experience of at least 6 years in professional services.
  • Experience in pitching and creating client documents to tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Experience in CRM for key clients.
  • Understanding of a partnership environment.
  • Team player with understanding of high performing professional services environment.

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
