Junior Accounts Assistant


Manchester Airport Freight Forwarder is looking for an junior accounts assistant to join their busy accounts team and assist with the day to day running of the accounts function as a whole.


The role includes credit control as well as purchase ledger and other tasks include sending statements, liaising with our operations team to resolve issues and disputes with invoices, manual data input of invoices and data importing from a CSV file, filing.

The role involves dealing with multi currencies and exchange rates.

Experience of Datafreight would be beneficial but not a necessity as training will be given.


The office is a busy one with a friendly atmosphere where everyone works together to keep the office running smoothly, efficiently providing cover and assistance to all aspects of the job.

You will eventually be trained on all aspects of the job.

There may be times when ad hoc reports/duties are required to assist with the accounts function.

The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am -5pm with an hour for lunch.

20 Days holiday and you will be allocated a free parking space on site.
