About ACT


ACT is a new Barnardo's service that is positioned within the Mental Health and Trauma Services (NWMHT) Delivery Platform and will have a base in Central Lancashire.

It will work with services across Britain to offer online therapy to children and young people aged approx years.

The aim of the ACT Service is to operate in a flexible and responsive way to meet the peaks and demands of referrals to services, by utilising a team of qualified therapists and experienced mental health practitioners offering a range of virtual interventions.


Role Details

  • Working days: Monday to Friday
  • Working hours: 36.25
  • Base: Central Preston Office
We are looking to recruit an experienced
Service Administrator to join the staff team.

  • Key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing an office base
  • Manging a client record data base
  • Inputting information such as absences and timesheets
  • The ability to communicate effectivey with a wide range of stakeholders including children, young people and families
  • Processing referrals received by the service
  • Maintaining a petty cash account & processing Invoices
  • Administrative support to managers and project staff
  • Ensuring confidentiality requirements are manged appropriately
  • Supporting the service manager with statistical reports
Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative.

This is a busy role which will require you to have a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise tasks, be proactive and solution focused.
