The role

As an Application Software Engineer you'll have a role that is out of the ordinary. Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, you'll design, implement and test the application software on various QTS projects relating to unmanned air vehicles, aerial targets, surface/marine targets and related technologies.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

Application software design and test. Detailed application real time software design to support both new and legacy products. Production and maintenance of design records in accordance with internal design procedures Fault diagnosis Provide technical support for internal and external customers. Provide input to the company's continuous improvement program

This role is full-time, 37-hours per week, and based at our Ashford site. Hybrid working is available. Some travel to support trials will be required.

Essential experience of the Application Software Engineer:

Experience with real time Applications C# & C++ programming & test within the visual studio environment .net programming GUI development Version control
