The Albatross, our modern Backpackers Hostel in the heart of Newcastle City Centre is now recruiting for a receptionist to join the team.
This role will involve providing an exceptional level of guest care, complying with all reception and reservation standards and maximising all sales opportunities for the venue.
Other Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional service and guest satisfaction, handling guest feedback professionally and within Company standards.
- Performing all reception and reservation duties to the required Company standard.
- Complying with Company audit and accounting requirements.
- Reporting any maintenance problems, and ensuring they are rectified, specifically in relation to the comfort of guests and issues of Health and Safety.
- Promoting a helpful and professional image within the department, ensuring full cooperation is given to colleagues in other departments.
- Ensuring security of keys and cash at all times.
- To be involved in any sales and marketing initiatives, including social media.
Hours:
Late and Night Shifts 0-40hrs
Salary:
NLW (weekend and nights supplements)
Experience is preferable but not essential.
