Hub & Helpline Domestic Abuse Practitioner

Working within our York based Referrals Hub, you will work within a highly trained team to ensure that victims and survivors receive immediate support and safety advice via our telephone helpline.
For each client you will complete an holistic, client-centred needs assessment, taking account of the whole family and provide immediate support and ongoing referrals to meet these needs.
You will need to liaise closely with other agencies e.g. Supporting Victims' Unit, Housing, DWP, Health, Social Services, Solicitors, Police, Courts etc. on behalf of clients and to refer to these agencies as appropriate.
In return we provide comprehensive training, development opportunities, a competitive salary, 26 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (Full-time), contributory pension scheme, employer-paid health cash plan and access to other national discount schemes.
Hours:
Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours cover until 8pm on a rota basis. (Additional hourly payments made for weekend out of hours cover between 10am and 3pm and 3pm to 8pm on a rota basis)
