We are seeking an experienced and creative long-form Social Video Production Lead to join our team.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the A-Z production process, including:
content ideation and spearheading the creative direction and production of each project, determining which team members/skills are needed, advance planning and coordinating on-site logistics, guiding the work of a post-production editing team, and finally, delivering a finished product optimized for social media platforms, especially youtube.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through long-form social content channels such as Youtube, a deep understanding of social media dynamics, and a proven track record in producing engaging and shareable content.
Social Content Production :
Lead all aspects of content production, from handling pre-production planning and content ideation to overseeing post-production editing.
Spearhead the development of creative concepts, elaborate these concepts into tangible and compelling stories, oversee logistics such as location scouting and determining what team members are needed in order to successfully execute the project, both on-site and during pre and post-production, and overall, ensure timely and high-quality content delivery.
On-location Management : Oversee and proactively engage in the hands-on aspects of the filming process, directing the activities and aesthetics to bring the creative vision to life.
Collaboration :
Work closely with the creative team to bring content ideas to life, while maintaining ownership of and responsibility for the content ideation and actualization.
Resource Management :
Manage production budgets, equipment, and resources effectively to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. Coordinate with vendors, rental houses, and other external partners to secure necessary equipment and services for production.
Post-Production:
Review footage, provide feedback to production team members, and oversee the editing process to achieve the desired final product.
Creativity :
Creative vision and a passion for storytelling, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Ability to translate creative concepts into compelling visual narratives that resonate with audiences and drive engagement on social media platforms.
Experience :
Proven track record in social content film production, with extensive experience in creating original long-form content. Previous experience with long-form YouTube videos, documentaries, or similar formats is highly preferred.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in all aspects of film production, including camera operation, lighting, sound recording, and post-production editing. Familiarity with industry-standard software and equipment, such as Adobe Suite and professional-grade cameras, is essential.
Leadership :
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to deliver their best work.
Experience leading production crews and coordinating complex filming schedules is a plus.Genuine enthusiasm for creating exceptional long-form social media content that pushes boundaries, sparks conversation, and captivates audiences. Thorough understanding of, passion for, and experience with producing specifically SOCIAL MEDIA LONG FORM CONTENT.
