This is a new role, and you will be an integral part of how it is scoped and developed. Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Managing the Finance department to ensure that the ledgers are accurate, timely and comply with all relevant accounting standards and policies.
  • Coordinate preparation of financial forecasts and budgets
  • Present monthly statements which identify results, trends, and forecasted performance
  • Manage working capital and cash flow to ensure liquidity of the business.
  • Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met.
  • Ensure new structure is reported properly.
  • Overseeing the audit process to ensure statutory accounts are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Develop into key advisor to MD.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Effective management of department and colleagues
  • Excellent IT proficiency across all systems in the business
  • Ability to design, implement and review controls across the business, including systems.
  • Positive contribution to improving the performance of the finance department.
  • Willingness to expand experience and skills within the business.
