HR Officer (Maternity)
Belfast

We are recruiting on behalf of leading client to recruit for a HR Officer to cover for 8 months for a maternity cover.

The role will be based in their offices in Belfast. This is a hybrid working model. Hours of work are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. There is an excellent benefits package on offer with position.

The HR Officer will support the provision of HR Services to support all employees.

Your role as HR Officer will include:

  • Assisting with executing the HR Strategy
  • Managing allocated Recruitment and Selection exercises
  • Responsible for overseeing key functions within the HR team, such as : L&D, Reward Management, Performance Management, Inclusion and Diversity and Employee Engagement
  • Effectively manage employee relations issues globally as they arise e.g., performance, conduct, absence and grievance.
  • Assisting with conducting an annual Employee Survey, analyse the results, develop report to include recommendations for improvements

The HR Officer must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • BSc Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Studies / Management and have CIPD Level 5 and Membership of CIPD.
  • 3 years' experience working within a Human Resources Department.
  • Knowledge and experience in all areas of HR to include: training, performance management, employee relations, employee benefits, reward and recognition etc.
  • Indepth knowledge of UK and Ireland Employment law and experience of working with dispersed global teams is preferred.
  • Experience with in dealing with Global Complex Employee Relations issues is preferred.
  • MS Office, particularly, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
