Our client, a well-known hotel group across the UK, is in search of a motivated and accomplished Head of National Hotel Sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a core sales strategy focused on generating and expanding revenue and profit, particularly in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) market segment.
  • Team Management: Guide and motivate a team of Regional Directors of Sales (RDOS), nurturing a positive and proactive environment with strong teamwork. Maintain a consistent focus on targets through daily communication, incentives, and tracking of leads, conversions, and sales.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize specific production data to empower the team to secure new business and enhance existing account relationships.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Group Sales Director and other key departments, sharing pertinent sales insights and information. Actively contribute to the development of the annual Sales Plan, quarterly updates, and the hotels' annual Budgets.

Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in a senior sales position, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to create and implement comprehensive sales strategies and adjust them based on market trends and performance metrics.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel throughout the UK as needed.
