Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Passive Fire)
Location: West Yorkshire (Hybrid)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Pre-tender contract and pricing support
  • Post-tender contractual advice, support, and escalation
  • Contract budgets and monitoring progress on-site
  • Building relationships with client counterparts
  • Variation control, valuation, and agreement
  • Interim and final account management
  • Final account agreement and dispute resolution
  • Debt management assistance
  • Monthly invoicing and application
  • Forecast reporting
  • Cost-Value Reconciliation (CVR) reporting
  • Managing non-labor only subcontractors
  • Pricing support for division and major tenders/frameworks
  • Price list management and negotiating with key suppliers
  • Supplier procurement for significant purchases
  • Enforcing payment terms

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project QS
  • BSc degree or HNC in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying/Construction (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience in tender pricing
