About the Job:
An exciting opportunity is available for a SEND Team Lead at a Midlands-based Local Authority, for a 5-month term. As a Senior Team Lead, you will tackle intricate cases and lead a dedicated team to meet service priorities and ensure efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee workload allocation and manage case files
- Lead a team of case officers to meet statutory responsibilities
- Take a strategic role within the SEND service
- Support staff in addressing complex cases and complaints
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- Prior experience in SEN/D within a local authority
- Proficiency in managing complex cases and complaints
- Previous line management or supervisory experience
- Experience with complaints handling and mediations
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate
