As a key player in our team, you'll collaborate closely with supply chain, planning, engineering, and quality experts. Your mission is to cultivate strong connections with both new and existing suppliers, ensuring they align seamlessly with our business requirements. Are you the ideal fit?
We're seeking an experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years in supplier development and management within the Manufacturing sector. Your expertise should encompass a profound understanding of aerospace products, manufacturing processes, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct supplier audits and evaluations for conformance.
  • Assess new and existing supplier capabilities for on-time delivery, quality, cost, and compliance.
  • Monitor supplier KPI performance and lead improvement activities.
  • Drive systematic problem-solving and process improvement with suppliers.
  • Manage supplier quality performance issues and resolve nonconformance.
  • Assist Quality professionals with NPI projects and qualifying new suppliers including FAI and PPAP.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within Supplier Development from either a Supply Chain or Supplier Quality background.
  • CIPS certified preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.

Location - Accrington, Lancashire

Salary - c 42k - 48k (dependent on experience)

Benefits - up to 20% pension Life Assurance, 25 days holiday + BH, Occupational Health with free eye tests, sick pay, onsite canteen, and free parking.
