Our client, one of the UK's fastest-growing specialists in Corporate Restructuring, Recovery and Insolvency, are currently recruiting for a Senior Insolvency Administrator.
You'll be seen as a key member of the team and will be answerable directly to the senior partners group and will have the opportunity to take responsibility for a portfolio of more complex corporate insolvency cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and organising: to ensure all client work is carried out within the appropriate timescales through continual monitoring of case progression.
- Teamwork: working as a team with the other managers, directors and staff to ensure the department as a whole meets its objectives and all client demands are exceeded.
- Problem solving: knowledge to resolve technical issues and organisation to resolve client and director demands.
- Analytical skills: to assess financial and other information to assist clients in understanding their affairs and needs; to identify opportunities to enhance value for stakeholders.
- Understanding the insolvency act and appreciate key commercial aspects of insolvency companies.
- Provide regular progress reports to the manager including preparation of sixmonthly case reviews.
- Be able to work on several different assignments at one time.
- Drafting all routine case correspondence and dealing with creditor telephone enquiries.
Requirements:
- No less than 4 years' experience within Insolvency and Restructuring.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- ACA/ACCA or CPI/ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency Qualification essential.
- Studying towards or considering JIEB desirable but not essential.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
