Mental Health Support Worker

  • Willow Tree Support_ is an independent care business, We provide supported living individuals with severe and enduring mental illnesses and learning disabilities.


Due to growth and expansion into Oldham, we are seeking to recruit a selection of Support workers for a range of full time and part time hours, including sleep/night shifts.


  • The primary base for this job will be in our Oldham home, but there is expectation to move between homes as the service requires._


Shift pattern for this home will be 36 hours per week -This will include a minimum of _
1 sleep in night per week_.

You will have 3-4 days off per week and ample opportunity for overtime/bank shifts. Weekends are expected on a rotational basis.

Part time hours are negotiable and we will be flexible around our staffs needs.

Previous work and qualifications in care or mental health/learning disabilities would be advantageous but not essential, a good attitude and both excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.


The duties of our support workers include assistance with certain aspects of daily living, including cooking, cleaning, attending appointments and prompting with medication.

Willow Tree Support is providing long term rehabilitation so the role will be led by fun and engaging activities to help build confidence and self-esteem, we will organise day trips and encourage our service users to pick activities which they want to do This might include gardening, bowls, darts etc
