Position Overview:
As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals on their journey to recovery and improved quality of life.
Your commitment to providing excellent care and support will contribute significantly to the overall well-being of the clients.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a skilled team of therapists and healthcare professionals to implement personalized rehabilitation plans.
- Deliver essential personal care, offer assistance with daily activities, and provide crucial mobility support.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, promptly communicating any changes to the care team.
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and activities designed to enhance clients' mobility and function.
- Foster a nurturing and motivating environment that encourages clients' independence and progress.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records to ensure the continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Deep empathy and genuine concern for the wellbeing of individuals in recovery.
- Effective communication skills and a strong ability to work harmoniously within a team.
- Physical fitness and aptitude for assisting with mobility and transfers.
- Previous experience in healthcare, particularly in a rehabilitation capacity, is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or training in healthcare support are advantageous.
