Role: Psychology Graduate - Learning Support Assistant

Location: Birmingham

Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Start Date: Immediate

Salary : £415 - £450 per week

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (for suitable candidates)

Calling all graduates in Educational Studies/ Primary or Secondary Education studies (PGCSE/QTS) /Further Education (FE/PTLLS/DTLLS) / Education, Childhood & Professional Studies/Early Years or Early Childhood Studies/ Youth, and Community Studies Your skills are in high demand, and we want you to be part of something extraordinary.

In this role, you'll provide support to children and young adults with diverse needs such as Autism, ADHD, Mild/Severe Learning Difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health conditions. Your impact will be felt both in and out of the classroom, nurturing growth, and empowerment every step of the way. To succeed in this role, adaptability, strong rapport-building skills, and compassion are key.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in education (or related field).
  • Desirable: Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
  • Must have a DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
  • Key attributes: Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being.
  • Flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students.
