  • The University of Liverpool is collaborating on a project setting up a panEuropean Paediatric Clinical Trials Network addressing the critical problems with the design, implementation and operational conduct of paediatric clinical trials. The Collaborative Network of European Clinical Trials for Children (conect4children or c4c) project runs for six years, it began in May 2018 and is funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI). The purpose of this post is to provide administrative support to the ULIV project management team, working in unison with the ULIV Project Administrators, Project Coordinators and Network Lead. The role will involve working closely with members of the international Project Management Office, ULIV staff/associates, representatives from paediatric research networks within UK and Europe, and other relevant paediatric international organisations. This post will require the organisation and facilitation of meetings and teleconferences taking place locally, nationally and internationally. An integral part of the role will be responsibility for full organisation of a great deal of international travel, within IMI and university guidelines, for the Project Lead (Prof Mark Turner) and the project team. This includes meeting all budget and financial requirements for invoicing, payment and reimbursement, if required. The postholder will support the organisation and facilitation of highprofile conference events; including the annual c4c General Assembly and many other facetoface meetings and teleconferences taking place locally, nationally and internationally. This is a hybrid post, working from home and within the University of Liverpool, Department of Women¿s and Children¿s Health at Liverpool Women¿s NHS Foundation Trust.
