Our client is a dynamic and growing Property Finance Lender, providing secured and non-regulated lending solutions for property professionals within residential development across the UK.


The majority of their clients are property developers and investors looking for property finance to use for property purchase, both auction and open market, heavy and light refurbishments refinancing and exit loans.

With decades of experience within realestate lending, they have provided funding complex solutions direct to borrowers and developers and to their intermediary partners.

They have solid funding in place with a family office and HNWI.

They are also looking to launch a new Development Finance (Ground up) product later this year, therefore this is a superb time to join them as they raise their profile in the industry.


Due to new funding, they are expanding the team and looking to hire an experienced Head of New Business within the specialist short term property finance industry who can play an integral part in their growth by increasing their brand and proposition inthe London and South of England.


This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and growing lender who have a genuine appetite to lend providing an efficient and smooth lending process allowing deals to be approved quickly without the red tape and longer sign off processesoften associated with bigger corporate lenders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop unregulated bridging loan opportunities from brokers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets including provision of a high service level to all broker accounts.
  • Hold face to face meetings with brokers and clients.
  • Planning and maintaining a diary of appointments.
  • Present lending proposition to potential and existing customers through wellarticulated presentations and proposals.
  • Attend exhibitions/seminars and arrange presentations to promote the company
  • Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing the market reputation of the business.
  • Be the principal point of contact and build ongoing business relationships with each Intermediary and manage any issues that may arise.
  • Maximise enquiries and completions from introducer base by building and nurturing relationships.
  • Prepare, maintain and deliver an account management plan for each of the Intermediaries in your business area.
  • Be proactive in the company's product development.
  • To maintain all broker contacts in the CRM database.
  • Organise networking events or seminars.
  • Support Case Managers from timetotime by liaising with solicitors and valuers to effectively manage the lending process.
  • Source market research relating to property finance, identifying trends and interpreting market news to determine risk of loans.
  • Carry out initial qualifying underwrite on new opportunities in line with criteria.

Experience:

  • Min of 5 years' experience within an origination/ business development role within the nonregulated short term property finance market
  • Proven track of exceeding sales targets
  • Good knowledge of the UK Property finance industry
  • An established network of introducers within the property market
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Capable of working independently and selfmotivated
  • Existing relationships in the property broker market with the ability to build and maintain your own panel.
