Business Administration Apprenticeship - Rockthorn

We are a modern minded team keeping the construction industry diggin' throughout the UK. Our nationwide service supplies a range of equipment including, but not limited to, excavators, dumpers, tele-handlers and small hand tools to those within the construction and related industries. Our team is at the heart of our business, making the impossible possible by focusing on excellent customer service and solving their needs often at very short notice.

On the hire desk you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping to coordinate their requirements along with assisting the our accounts with administration duties. We're on the lookout for someone with great customer service skills who will thrive in a busy environment and mirror our focus on being the very best in the industry.
**Apprenticeship summary:

  • Wage: £6 per hour
  • Monday to Friday (shifts to be confirmed)
  • Expected duration: 18 Months

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Managing supplier relationships ensuring our clients needs are met
  • Resolving customer complaints and supplier issues efficiently and with compassion
  • Assisting our administration assistance with the day to day running of the business

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

  • Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience in a customer service role or admin roles
  • Excellent communication skills Have a high standard of written English
  • Consistently excellent and personable telephone manner
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on increasing sales
  • Strong team player with the ability to both work to own initiative and alongside our existing team
