Join our Trust Resilience Team

Are you ready to take on the role of Head of Special Operations at our company? As the Head of Special Operations, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and directing all Trust special operations response capabilities. You will work closely with operational staff, management teams, and other emergency service partners to ensure effective partnerships and compliance with regulations.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Provide leadership and direction for all special operations response capabilities
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with emergency service partners at all levels
  • Undertake on-call duties as a National Interagency Liaison Officer (NILO)

  • CBRNE Manager
  • MERIT Manager
  • Special Operations Clinical Lead
  • HART Training Managers
  • HART Operations Manager

Qualifications Required:

  • Educated to Masters level
  • Post graduate diploma in Management Studies or equivalent
  • Holder of NILO qualification
  • State Registered Paramedic
  • CBRN Provider certified
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team leadership skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Nationally recognized training qualification
  • Nationally recognized debriefing qualification
  • Ambulance Intervention Team Commander
  • Specialist qualifications related to the HART Programme

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Understanding of Trust's vision and values
  • Knowledge of national Special Operations policies
  • Experience in HR policies
  • Demonstrated career development
  • Service line budget management experience
