Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
  • Plan and implement ageappropriate activities and curriculum
  • Ability to engage children in various educational and play activities through child led and adult initiated activities.
  • Monitor children's progress and development, documenting observations as needed
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's daily activities and progress
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is desirable
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a group of children effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • A drive for continuous learning and professional development

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay:
£11.81 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
