This position is located at our Chennai / Kochi office and may entail occasional travel.

  • Design and execute a comprehensive development strategy in line with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Provide inspiring leadership to the development team, fostering a culture of creativity, teamwork, and continuous advancement.
  • Promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance development processes and results.
  • Implement automation tools and procedures to streamline development workflows, boost efficiency, and improve code quality.

Full Stack Development:

  • Oversee the entire development lifecycle, covering UI design, backend architecture, AI/ML integration, and software database management.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to create, implement, and deploy scalable solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability across all development projects.

Team Management and Development:

  • Establish and lead a top-performing development team, offering mentorship, guidance, and growth opportunities.
  • Cultivate a culture of responsibility, transparency, and continuous learning within the development department.
  • Handle resource allocation, staffing, and talent acquisition to support project requirements and growth objectives.
  • Mentor team members on DevSecOps principles, Agile approaches, and SDLC best practices to encourage continuous learning and enhancement.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in cloud technologies like Azure, GCP, and AWS to design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions.
  • Keep updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in DevSecOps, Agile development, and software engineering to drive innovation and efficiency.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Act as a primary link between development, operations, and business stakeholders to facilitate communication and build productive relationships.

KPI Reporting

  • Accountable for delivering industry-leading KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to assess development process efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
  • Develop and track metrics to measure and enhance key aspects of the development lifecycle, translating data into actionable insights using visualizations and analysis.
  • Craft tailored reports for different stakeholders, spotlighting trends to drive ongoing improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of software development experience, with a focus on full stack development and at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership capacity.
  • Proven record of successfully leading and delivering complex development projects within deadlines and budgets.
  • Extensive expertise in cloud technologies such as Azure, GCP, and AWS, including cloud architecture design and deployment.
  • Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts and their application in software development.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for motivating teams.
  • Proficient in implementing and overseeing DevSecOps practices for seamless security integration throughout the development process.
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies, adept at inspiring collaboration and continuous improvement in teams.
  • Skilled in driving SDLC best practices, including requirement analysis, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Strategic thinker passionate about innovation and continuous enhancement.
