This is a superb opportunity for an experience B2B Customer Marketing professional with extensive experience of trade and product to consumer marketing experience. You will be working for a distributor for a range of high end products, and responsible for creation of effective marketing plans, planograms, point of sale plans and making use of Mailchimp on a regular basis.

Customer Marketing Manager - Overview

An exciting opportunity to for a hands-on, driven Customer Marketing Executive to join a dynamic, vibrant and successful company. Please note, this role is not digital or social media marketing based, we can only progress CVs from those who are seasoned Trade / Customer Marketing professionals, competent and passionate to carry out all the below duties and tasks.

As a key member of this exclusive distributor for an amazing, highly regarded brands products, the company operate throughout the UK and Europe, the following will be your remit

Customer Marketing Manager Role

The appointed person will be tasked with pro-actively planning, creating and executing both on and off line retail activity to drive sales across the UK and Europe. Liaising with senior key stakeholders across the brand and the business.

The appointed candidate will be comfortable working to SMART objectives agreeing with key stakeholders in advance, to be delivered on time and then reviewed to assess impact.

In addition to managing retail activity, you will also be required to plan, create and manage our internal and external communications throughout the business, brand, retailer partners and prospects. These must be inline with the Brands tone of voice and look. This will include POS plans, design and delivery of trade marketing plans, creation of compelling sales documents, be confident in the use of Planograms and Mailchimp.

Although a hands on role, with most of the above carried out by the job holder, there will be occasional need to brief and manage third party suppliers including graphic designers, printers and translators. You will also periodically review the ongoing performance from these resource pools.

Customer Marketing Manager Day to Day Duties

Creation of our retail campaign pack to bring the brand plan to life instore and online

Creation and execution of the assets required for the supporting promotional plan

Creation and execution of tailored annual marketing plan with 6-8 key accounts

Selling tool creation to ensure the sales team have the selling tools they require

Design and creation of POS & planograms

Weekly email comms to trade partners, management of Mailchimp and monitoring of success

Prospecting Comms

Creating our quarterly strategic comms to trade and prospects

Internal comms across the business celebrating success

Market intelligence gathering

Customer Marketing Manager - Person specification

The successful candidate will;

  • Have excellent project management skills
  • Be proficient at managing 3rd party providers
  • Be a self-starter able to get on with completing the task
  • Have at least 3 years experience in customer marketing for a consumer brand including:
  • Creating annual retail activation plans
  • Production of POS - essential
  • Producing Assets for retail activation
  • Creating selling tools for the sales team
  • Creating specific retail activity that delivers a positive ROI
  • Merchandising and planograms
  • Copy writing
  • Mailchimp
  • Have strong experience in product / customer marketing
