THE ROLE Maintain and update the database used for the calculation of the standard product cost for each product manufacturedUsing production quantities, calculate a weekly result for the factory and compare actual usage to standard usage for raw materials consumption and labour hours. Analyse the variances to provide insight to assist in the efficient management of the production process.Produce month end factory P&L account analysing accounting data from SAP and completing with month end accruals, prepayments and recharges as required.Extract and produce reports to explain and analyse variances against standard for manufacturing and labour losses and fixed costs to budget.Produce factory budget and reforecasts in accordance with the methodology of the group.Calculation of PCU for NPD as required.Adhere to group accounting procedures and internal controls.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We're looking for a candidate that shows enthusiasm, initiative and excellent communication skills. However, the following basic skills would be an advantage -Excellent communicator - Able to explain and present financial information to inform and assist production management.Recognized accounting qualification and experience.Team player.
