Responsibilities
The primary objective of this position is to oversee customer accounts, ensuring prompt and efficient debt collection with necessary escalation when required.
As the Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Clear communication with customers and key contacts via phone and email
- Verification of all correspondence for accuracy and proper branding
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and customers as needed
- Management of a portfolio of accounts
- Reporting on debt performance and matters to management
- Resolution of internal and external disputes related to outstanding invoices
- Generation of debtor reports for portfolios
- Conducting customer account reconciliations
- Maintaining strong business relationships and ensuring service levels are met
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in administration and data management
- Keenness to learn and enhance knowledge for improved efficiency
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- High attention to detail, strong numeracy skills, and precision
- Capability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines
- Background in Professional Services is advantageous
- Prior experience in Credit Control
