The Old House 1147 is a premium country inn with rooms, located in the historic village of Llangynwyd.

We are a busy Restaurant and Wedding Venue, passionate about serving the best local Welsh produce and providing the best possible experience for our guests.


Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
  • Utilise our Hotel Management Software for various administrative tasks (full training provided)
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Assist in basic bookkeeping & payroll tasks using Xero accounting software

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, or similar role
  • Proficiency in computerised systems and office software (e.g, Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time keeping skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent typing skills and accuracy in data entry
