The Doctoral College and Centre for Research Capability Development (ReCap) plays a pivotal role in advancing the quality of the University's research environment by delivering a seamless offer of high
- quality professional support for researchers, from PhD to Professor. Working alongside the Research Institutes, Research Centres and Research Services under a new Coventry Research structure and in partnership with Enterprise and Innovation, the College and Centre provides and supports an excellent research infrastructure that delivers the University's ambitious research strategy and the objectives set out in the Corporate Plan.

  • Development and Training (ReCap)
  • PGR Recruitment and Admissions
The key areas of focus will be: lean PGR administration, major innovations in structure, design and delivery of PGR training, quality enhancement of research supervision, best in-class researcher capability development programmes and the development of an expanded portfolio of collaborative doctoral programmes, to support REF 2027


The post holder will provide high-level organisational support and will be expected to be flexible to ensure that the Doctoral College & ReCap is responsive to institutional priorities and supports the swift delivery of change.
