This role involves leading and managing a team of in-house workforce and subcontractors, ensuring business controls are applied in a portfolio of reactive works. It's an excellent chance for someone looking to progress and gain broader business management exposure.

The Supervisor will ensure the availability of labor, materials, and subcontractors to meet contract requirements. The position will be location-based at either Solihull or St Albans offices, with regular travel along the route to oversee works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clients:
    • Liaise with customers, their representatives, and stakeholders on Operational Issues.
    • Establish and nurture valuable business relationships.
    • Adapt to changes in client and stakeholder needs.
    • Effectively manage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Delivery:
    • Manage a team of operatives assigned to the framework.
    • Ensure completion of method statements, risk assessments, and necessary paperwork.
    • Implement a safe work site in line with company procedures.
    • Supervise site activities and ensure competence in duties.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and drive improvement.
    • Undertake site inspections and manage reactive orders.
    • Plan trades activities, arrange access requirements, and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Reporting:
    • Attend and document meetings, monitor project milestones, and escalate issues promptly.
    • Update internal systems for effective communication.
  • Risk:
    • Ensure approvals are in place for risk-free work progress.
    • Review construction methods and address non-conformances.
    • Manage issues that may impact costs or safety.
    • Resolve safety, quality, and environmental concerns.
  • People:
    • Lead and develop the work team, instilling company values and providing support.
    • Act as a company representative externally and inspire the team.
    • Coordinate subcontractors and in-house teams effectively.
