Our opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an inquisitive, problem solving individual, who is either looking to pursue a change in career or is looking for a graduate position to join Crawford Forensic Accounting Service (CFAS) on our accountancy training program What you'll be doing Collaborating with colleagues from across Crawford both in the UK or further afield, the majority of your time will be spent working in a diverse and specialised team on large and complex loss claims on behalf of insurer clients. Analysing financial data across a wide range of industry sectors your work may include investigations, quantification of loss, resolving coverage issues and negotiating settlement between insurers and policyholders. In order to do this, your role will include:- Financial data analysis and interpretation
- Financial modelling and forecasting various scenarios after the occurrence of a loss
- Communicating with different stakeholders to understand and quantify losses
- Report writing, including preparation of claims calculations with supervision
- Attending meetings throughout the claim process, which will include collating information and negotiation of a claim
- Outgoing collaborator with good written and communication skills
- Ability to "think outside the box"
- Graduate with a 2:1 or above, or an exceptional CV demonstrating a thirst for personal development and individual responsibility
- 3 A Levels or equivalent (minimum A B B)
- GCSE's (Minimum B or 6 in English and Maths)
- Competent IT skills, in particular comfortable with Excel
