Payroll Assistant - Edinburgh - CA Firm - Up to £26,000 + Benefits

Your new company
Based in Edinburgh, our client is recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm but there is flexibility with these hours. The role will be initially working from the office duringthe induction/training period. There will then be a hybrid policy in place moving forward.

Your new role

Reporting to the Payroll Senior, you will work as part of the wider payroll team providing payroll services to a wide variety of clients.

You will focus on high volume processing and assisting in maintaining the accuracy of monthly payroll returns.

Your dutieswill involve processing and reconciling payroll on a weekly and monthly basis for clients, accurately transferring timesheet information, resolving enquiries and general associated tasks assigned to you by clients and the Payroll Senior.


What you'll need to succeed

This role will be suited to an individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a high volume workload.

Experience of payroll is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. You will be able to work well both independently andas part of a team.

You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written as you will communicate with clients on a daily basis.
