About the Role:
Change Lives Every Day as an Opioid Medication Practitioner, you will be at the forefront of change, impacting the lives of those who need it the most

Your responsibilities will include:

Comprehensive Care:
Managing a caseload of individuals struggling with opioid medication use, including over the counter (OTC) and prescription-only medication (POM), by devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans

Empowerment:
Facilitating and promoting individuals' progression from initial engagement through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery

Community Well-Being:
Reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.

Collaboration:
Collaborating with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes

Multidisciplinary Approach:
Engaging in multidisciplinary work with external partners, including GPs, pharmacies, pain management teams, and other healthcare professionals. This role is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with one late finish per week.

We are looking for:
Experience in the social or health care sector Experience or interest in supporting people with opioid addiction.

Strong Understanding:
A strong understanding of and ability to implement interventions, including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT, and ITEP. Experience in delivering 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions.
