Data Entry Operator

Hours and Pay:

£23,500pa

Monday - Friday

Rotational Shift Pattern (08:00am-4:30pm and 12:30pm-9pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate data entry.
  • Preparation and completion of customs entries for export and import.
  • To respond to customs queries such as duty rates, commodity codes, licences and documentation.
  • Ensuring the calculation of duty and VAT is accurately reflected in the entry acceptance.
  • To maintain alignment with current and new legislation and custom procedures.
  • To ensure compliance at all times, whilst able to work in a multisoftware setting.

Requirements:

  • Organised with good attention to detail.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Previous office experience.
  • PC and Microsoft Office skills.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with any stakeholders, colleagues and customers.
  • Customs or logistics knowledge would be advantageous.
Our client will provide all the relevant training to enable you to be successful in this role.
