Key responsibilities:

  • Arranging for third party pallet collections.
  • Raising claims for transport damages.
  • Liaising with customers.
  • General adhoc office duties.
  • Speaking with transport companies.
  • Communicating with customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Picking and packing sample orders.
  • Amending our systems with the required updates
  • Updating Logistics KPI's
  • Raising Manufacturing Orders for the Warehouse team
  • Any additional administration tasks as required
  • Offer any operational feedback to support improvements to the Quality Management System

Must have Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of recent customer service/operations experience.
  • At least 3 years logistics experience.
  • Proficient in computer usage, with good typing skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Similar background/Industry experience.
  • Communication skills.
  • Able to speak to customers over the phone or face to face in a professional manner.
  • Experience in dealing with transport companies.
  • Experience in Odoo system would be an advantage
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is essential.
  • This role requires an organised individual with an exceptional attention to detail and can work under pressure at times
  • A team player.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both inside the business and externally.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to ever changing procedures.
  • To demonstrate flexibility in your approach to new duties by supporting the needs of the business.

Details:

- £28,600 per annum, dependant on experience.

  • 48 hours per week, Monday to Saturday
  • Flexible with rotated shifts 8am 5pm/ 96pm/ 10am7pm start
  • Able to work both in the office and Yard depending on the requirement
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
