What is the role?

Subsea7 are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join on a full-time, fixed term basis for a period of up to one year, located in our Westhill, Aberdeen office. This role will be part of the UK & Global IRM HR Team and will be responsible for the efficient, timely and accurate delivery of a professional HR service to the onshore population.


As an HR Advisor you will provide support and day to day HR Generalist advice to a wide range of employees and managers, predominantly based onshore in the UK but also in our country/project offices globally.

This position reports to the UK & Global IRM Senior HR Business Partner but will also have a focus on supporting the UK & Global IRM HR Director.


What will your responsibilities involve?

  • Support management in the identification of resourcing requirements and coordinates the daytoday aspects of recruitment and selection process in liaison with line managers and recruitment specialist.
  • Assist with the implementation and development of initiatives which promote and develop constructive Employee Relations within the region and between other company business units.
  • Coordinate HR processes in conjunction with local HR Employee Services, payroll and offshore personnel logistics functions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure the Performance Management Review and offshore appraisal process are embedded in the region and that any training needs are documented and actioned by the Learning and Development team.

What are we looking for?

  • You should have previous experience working in a similar position providing an advanced level of HR advice to management and employees.
  • You should have a good working knowledge of employment legislation and ability to interpret HR policies and procedures. As well as a technical knowledge of employee benefits and associated administration schemes.
  • You will have proven organisational skills and the ability to review work methods in support of continually developing smart and efficient work methods.
  • You should have proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation and externally in a variety of methods.
